Koole Tankstorage Botlek (KTB) is a deep-sea terminal located in the heart of the Port of Rotterdam and is focused on the storage of chemicals, minerals, and biofuels, operating 24/7. The facility offers integrated petrochemical industrial distillation (PID) services, allowing Koole to serve green-niche markets and drive the energy transition with new energy sources such as sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). KTB currently operates 4 different multi-purpose distillation units with an annual throughput capacity of more than 2.4 million tonnes. The combination of its geographical location and wide infrastructure in multi-modal connections, for vessel, barge, truck, and rail, is rather unique.
Production of SAF
